Turner Mining Group Expands Utah Mining Team

SALT LAKE CITY- Turner Mining Group continues to increase their presence in the North American mining sector with additions to the mining team, led by Lennie Boteilho, Senior Vice President of Mining. The growth of the Utah-based team includes several new hires with significant experience in mine engineering, planning, estimating, safety and operations.
“These team members bring very specific expertise across different aspects of the mining sector, allowing us to grow to meet our client’s needs. Today, we are better equipped to handle anything that comes our way,” comments SVP of Mining, Lennie Boteilho.
Turner Mining Group is fully committed to meeting emerging mining sector requests, and these moves affirm their ability to deliver a full spectrum of turn-key services. Led by industry veterans, the organization holds a broad understanding of industry best practices with a focus on execution across capabilities.

Turner Mining Group is a full-service provider to the mining sector with site operations throughout the United States. The company employs miners and industry veterans from all 50 states with plans to continue further expansion through additional hiring.

Bill Oglesby joins as Director of Planning & Estimating
Bill brings over 26 years of experience navigating the complexities of large mining projects. He will oversee estimating, planning, and onsite operations. Bill’s experience spans crushing, leach pad construction & expansion, drilling & blasting, tailings facilities, mechanical, structural and concrete, along with expertise from building new plants to closure and reclamation. Bill joins Turner Mining Group from Ames Construction.
Austin Anstoetter joins as Director of Operations
Austin joins Turner Mining Group from Granite Construction, bringing advanced project management and estimating skills coupled with knowledge of large civil construction and complex mining projects. He has experience operating mine facilities from greenfield to closure and reclamation. Austin will oversee coordination of resources across mining projects.
Blaine Larson joins as Director of Operations
Blaine brings over 37 years of experience to the Turner Mining Group team. He's held leadership roles in part 48 surface operations including stripping, drilling & blasting, mining, ore quality control, crushing, screening, and reclamation. Additionally, Blaine has held field management roles overseeing the construction of specialty earthworks including tailings facilities and leach pads with teams in excess of 75 members for Ames Construction. Blaine’s vast knowledge of the mining industry enhances production, safety and efficiency.
