Turner Mining Group Partners with US Silica at Pacific Worksite
June 17, 2025 • Celebrations
In collaboration with US Silica, Turner Mining Group is helping drive progress at the Pacific worksite, where efforts are underway to expose approximately 11 acres of high-quality sandstone ore. The project includes the removal of clay overburden and limestone cap rock, management of blasted material, and the construction of a major decline into the existing mine that will improve access to the pit and allow for safer, more efficient production.
Turner’s involvement goes deeper than the standard mining package. By delivering added services like surveying, slope grading and seeding, and haul road construction, the team is helping build the framework for ongoing success at the site.
The work at the Pacific site highlights a shared commitment to safety, long-term planning, and high-performance execution. Turner Mining Group’s approach is rooted in listening closely, integrating with the client’s team, and delivering consistent support through reliable equipment and a workforce built for purpose. It aligns with the company’s broader mission to make life better for the mining industry by creating smoother, safer, and more sustainable operations.
“We’re starting to see the impact of reaching critical mass across our clients’ operations nationwide,” said Tyson Murphy, Director of Technical Services. “By consistently deploying the same technical and operational teams at multiple sites, we’re creating continuity, solving complex challenges more efficiently, and unlocking real value through shared experience and strong relationships.”
