Turner Mining Group is excited to announce the opening of a new Operations Headquarters near Salt Lake City, Utah.

The decision to establish an additional headquarters centrally located in the western United States mining district reflects Turner’s commitment to expanding its presence in the metal/ non-metal mining sector. The new office will oversee all aspects of mining operations including engineering, estimating, planning and field management.

On the decision to expand, Turner Mining President Keaton Turner said“When we started Turner Mining Group almost 4 years ago, we were working out of a one room office with 15 people packed from wall to wall. It’s incredible to see what our team has accomplished to get us to this point. The vision for Turner Mining Group always included having our teams strategically located across the country. Opening the new office is an exciting step that allows us to continue growing and advancing our mission to make the mining industry a better place. We’re just getting started.”

Lennie Boteilho, Sr. Vice President of Mining, will oversee the transition, managing the new office and all corresponding personnel. Boteilho has 30+ years of management experience in mining, specifically leadership roles in field and administration operations. Lennie has deep experience with all elements of environmental, pre-construction, and production for heavy civil and mining projects.  Prior to Turner Mining Group, Lennie was with Ames Construction, directly managing all aspects of civil and mining projects.

Boteilho adds, “Coming from a larger contractor in the industry, it’s exciting to see the commitment this young team is taking to ensure our company is performing at it’s peak.  With this additional office we are fully committed to meeting our clients’ needs and strengthening our partnerships.  I’m looking forward to leading our progressive team based in Utah and providing a hub for operations to run at full capacity.”

Turner Mining Group is a full-service provider to the mining sector with site operations throughout the United States.  Turner Mining Group employs miners from all 50 states and plans to continue further expansion with additional hiring.
