Turner Mining Group Names Austin Anstoetter as Director of Engineering

BLOOMINGTON, IN | Turner Mining Group is excited to announce the internal promotion of Austin Anstoetter as the Director of Engineering. In this new role, Anstoetter will oversee all pre-construction, estimating, project planning and scheduling activities.

With over a decade of experience in the mining industry, Anstoetter first joined Turner Mining Group as a Director of Operations, where he brought several years of project management experience from his time working on DOT and mining projects, most notably at the Rio Tinto Kennecott mine. After earning a Civil Engineering degree from Iowa State and a B.S. in Construction Management from Weber State, Anstoetter held various leadership roles over the course of his career, including Production Manager, Project Engineer, and Operations Manager, providing him with an in-depth knowledge of complex mining projects. His experience and expertise have been invaluable in continuing to drive Turner Mining Group’s growth in target markets.

In his role as Director of Engineering, Anstoetter will work alongside and mentor the new field and project engineers, with a dual focus on building a strong support team that enables projects to operate as efficiently and cost-effectively as possible.
