Cade Smith Joins Turner Mining Group as Senior Vice President of Equipment

RENO— Turner Mining Group is excited to announce the newest addition to their senior leadership, Cade Smith, Senior Vice President of Equipment.
Cade joins the Turner team with nearly 30 years’ combined experience from Ledcor Group, SSR, Kinross, and Coeur Mining. He specializes in building and overseeing equipment maintenance teams, developing processes to increase equipment availability, and engaging the workforce to improve work quality and accountability.
“We couldn’t be happier to have Cade join the team. He has an amazing set of leadership skills and brings a wealth of industry experience to our team. Bringing Cade onboard as our Senior Vice President of Equipment is an exciting opportunity for the growth of our equipment division. We’re committed to putting the right people in place to grow and advance our mission in the mining industry. Cade’s background propels us forward in that direction,” said CEO, Keaton Turner.
All equipment and maintenance personnel will be a part of Cade’s organization, working with him to further implement equipment management best practices and maximize the resources needed to ensure projects and equipment are performing as planned.
Of the decision to join Turner Mining Group, Cade adds “I love the visual, heartfelt leadership I see from the people at Turner Mining Group. It’s one of the things that drew me to their mission. My leadership style is based around clear expectations and building a strong organizational foundation to help our people and the company grow.”
With Cade’s extensive background in equipment maintenance and fleet optimization, Turner Mining Group is confident his skillset will push the company forward with a focus on leadership and client service.
As Turner Mining Group’s equipment division continues to expand, communication from dealer partners, OEMs and fleet support vendors will be directed through Cade’s leadership.
