Turner Mining Group Expands Long-Term Partnership with Bayer, Awarded New Mining Services Contract with P4 Production.

Turner Mining Group is pleased to announce a newly awarded long-term mining services contract and expanded scope of work with P4 Production, LLC. (“P4”), a Bayer subsidiary, assuming responsibility for mining services at the Blackfoot Bridge Mine, Ballard Mine, and Caldwell Canyon Mine in Southeastern Idaho beginning January 2026. This new phase builds on Turner’s ongoing relationship with P4 at their Quartzite Quarry, further strengthening a trusted, values-driven partnership between the two companies.

Located in the heart of Idaho’s historic phosphate district, the mines are a cornerstone for the region where mining has supported a legacy of multigenerational opportunities for local families and businesses. The scope of work involves traditional hard rock mining but includes the requirement for very selective mining techniques to boost the phosphate ore quality and resource recovery. In addition, the landscape of the region is vast, and the high-quality ore needs to be transported long distances to P4’s centralized processing facilities. The focus is on optimizing long-term performance while minimizing environmental impact, ensuring the site continues to serve as a vital source of critically-important and domestically produced industrial minerals.
