McClelland and Bailey Take On New Operations Roles

As Turner Mining Group continues to expand mining operations, two exciting changes have been made to the Operations Team structure. Matt McClelland was promoted to the role of Operations Director, leading the field operations at large. Matt is responsible for providing on-site support for issue resolution, contract management, scheduling and budget management.

Ryan Bailey has been appointed to Continuous Improvement Advisor. Ryan will be focused on implementing and advancing best practices across our active project sites, as well as providing advice to Project Managers on site to assist in improving operations metrics. Ryan’s experience working across the country on a wide variety of mining projects makes him a perfect fit for this critical staff role.

“The support and knowledge that Matt and Ryan bring paired with the leadership and guidance that a high-level operations leader will bring will frame up the exact structure that we need in order to be successful with our growth trajectory,” said Patton Deischer, Chief of Staff. “This team is designed to provide maximum support to our Project Managers at our current structure with influence from the Leadership Team via Keaton Turner and Thomas Haun.”
