Turner Mining Group Ramps Up for Greenfield Development with Knife River
Knife River is one of the largest construction materials and contracting companies in the United States, with over 5,600 team members. Turner Mining Group will be partnering with Knife Rifer to provide greenfield development, plant location grading and settling pond construction.
“We have people and machines readily available, which will help Knife River avoid staffing challenges and ramp up quickly to meet deadlines for a large scope of work,” said Ben Schwanberg, Business Development Manager. Turner Mining Group is able to provide Knife River a more efficient contracting solution relative to other options.
Turner Mining Group is ready to overcome any challenges associated with greenfield development on a fairly tight timeline. The project will require GPS accuracy to meet drawing designs and expertise around initial pit development.
With both of these geographies offering extensive opportunity for growth and impact on society, Turner Mining Group is excited to play our part and develop strong partnerships that will shape the mining industry.
With a focus on leadership, professionalism and client service, we have revamped the Project Manager role to enable the most effective performance, site management and day-to-day decision making.
